On this website you will find select albums from clients and professional group activities I have participated in as well as a select set of images from sessions I’ve photographed recently.
I am an appointed member of the Manchester Art Commission (NH) and am the coordinator of the fine art and photography exhibit’s at the “Art on the Wall at City Hall Gallery”, located at City Hall, Manchester, NH. I am the Annual Conference Book Editor for NHPPA for 2010 and the current President of the NH Creative Club.
I am involved with a group of female professional photographers who get together regularly to photograph and practice portraiture. These sessions are free to our models! If you would like to model for us we would like to hear from you. We choose the venue, could be indoors or out, and the style of photography for the day, then you are who we get to photograph that day. If interested contact me anytime!

In my role as a professional portrait photographer, my ultimate goal is to take a pleasing portrait of my subjects, but that’s not all I’m thinking about when I’m behind the camera! I think “what do I see in your eyes?” What will someone else see there? How are they lit? What story are they telling me? Are they bright and alive, do they look natural, etc.
A while ago, I took a natural light workshop for professionals (from a Master natural light portrait photographer, Steve Bedell) and while it wasn’t the first photo workshop I’d ever taken, it was one of the most profound! I realized that day that I had been photographing in this Lifestyle method of natural lighting for the past 20 years! I had an ah-ha moment - I knew what I was doing!
(…yes, I chuckled too!)
Fast forward two years, with the launch of my Goodbrain.com photographic studio, it’s my goal to bring what I do into a studio environment as well.
I am really excited to offer you what I have dubbed my Lifestyle & Destination Portrait style, and while typically, I’ll be asking my clients to join me at my new 2300 square foot shooting complex for their sessions, you can be confident that whether your destination is at my studio, at a local venue, or somewhere far far away – what fun we’ll have at journey's end!
